Initially, I started this journey in 2007.  Went through 5 of the 6 classes in insurance required and right before class 7, realized that I wasn't ready for this.

Fast forward to March 2010.  Decided that I was ready.  Nut provided my stats over the past few months.  In November 2009, I weighed 279.  In March 2010, I weighed 254.

Had my first visit with the surgeon in February 2011.   My weight was 244.  My last visit prior to surgery was in early May 2011.  I gained 3 pounds and weighed in at 247.

The night before surgery, I weighed 232.  From November 2009 to May 23, 2010, I lost 47 lbs.

Had surgery on 05/24/2011.  Other than BP issues, surgery was a breeze.  To date, have not had any issues with food.

Did develop a bladder infection.  I am sure that I added to it by not drinking enough fluids.  But, I am working on that.
