Well, the 2 weeks of optifast are done and I am down 20 lbs.  The have changed my surgery timeto 11:00am from 8:00am.  I am a liitle upset, but what can I do?

Tomorrow is the start of my journey and my new life.

Today March 10/09 I found out my surgery date.  I am having my RNY on Thursday April 9/09 at 8:00am with Dr Klein at Humber.

Hello everyone. 
I have finally set up my profile.  I have however been reading up on the group for the last week.  I saw Dr. Klein on November 19th and have all my appointments scheduled with the last one being the 3 hour class at Humber Hospitalin April 2009.  I am hoping to have my RNY this summer.  Once I get a date I will post. 
Reading all your messages has given me the strength to feel good about my decision.  Thank you to all of you. 
A special thanks to Andrea for taking time one evening and speaking to me for over 1 hr on the bad, the good and the ugly.  I appreciate it.
It is also nice to finally find people who can understand what I am going through.
Good luck to all of you who are going to have your surgeries soon.
