Support Group Leader

I am officially a Obesity Help Support Group Leader. I completed my classes today. I am very excited about this. I am looking forward to getting my local group up and running. I hope to have alot of people there that are either pre-op's or post-op's, either way I will be there to offer my support and hope others will do the same.My online support group should be open to all very soon. I named it Support Equals Success. That is also the name I will be using for my local group.
I am so close to goal but the last one is just being stubborn. Who knows I may even end up going below my goal like I see so many people do.
I have met so many great people here on OH and ould love to be able to meet in person some day.
I am going to try to attend the up and coming event in southern CA but with funds being the way they are I am not sure if I will be able to or not. But I truly hope I can. I know that they are very informative and a great way to meet alot of people that have had or are thinking of having the surgery. Plus all of the professionals that are there.
