I have had a weight problem all my life. I have done dozens of diets and lost weight but it always came right back if you started
eating anything but diet food. I have 2 children Logan and Lexie and a wonderful husband Chuck I got diabetes when I was pregnant and was put on insulin and I never could lose weight after that. My diabetes dr recomended me to get the lap band surgery
I was in shock at first but I started researching it and I got so excited that it could cure type 2 diabetes. I was on an insulin pump taking 125 units a day. I started the pre op diet and lost 10 lbs in 1 month before I ever went to the dr. Then the nutionalist put me on the liqid diet and I have been off my insulin and have lost another 14 lbs. So I have lost 24 before my surgery. I am praising GOD
for every moment of this journey. He has been with me every step of the way. My insurance didn't cover so I have had to pay cash.
But it is worth every penny to get rid of diabetes and sleep apnea. My new ministry in life is to help others with weight problems and to tell everyone with weight related type 2 diabetes that this can be a cure. I have my surgery July 1, 08 This is my journey and I'm ready to get started. I'm going to BAND CAMP HEE HEE
