His office staff are very friendly- always telling me how great i'm doing... and they're very helpful and thorough. rnrnFuture patients should know that Dr. Nowak doesn't screw around. He's not doing this to earn an extra buck. If he thinks something about surgery would not be safe, he WILL NOT approve you or he WILL reschedule. My surgery was rescheduled two times- nerve wracking? yes!!! But thank goodness he is concerned about my health and safety more than his wallet!!!rnrnAftercare is always important- but I think it's more the insurance company who pushes it. The insurance company also structures the aftercare program (how many weeks after you see the Dr., dietician, etc) rnrnIf I had to pick surgeons again, I'd stick with Dr. Nowak. His bedside manner is a little quirky (almost \"House\" like but not quite) and very blunt- but so am I. It was a perfect fit for me. I strongly believe that everyone needs to decide for themselves what is best."
