This month I am officially SEVEN MONTHS POST OP!!!! Where has the time gone...

I feel amazing! I have absolutely no complaints. This surgery has been a dream come true. Although the weight isnt "falling off" like i thought it would, I have come a long way and I am so happy with the progress Ive made! I am down 96 lbs! I began my journey at 310 and I now weight 214. I feel beautiful, I have tons of energy, Im exercising and will soon be signing up for my first 5k.

Today, I am down a total of 68 lbs since ive started this process. Im a little frustrated right now because Ive hit a stall and have not lost or gained (gratefully) in almost 3 weeks. This has been such an experience and I know I never wouldnt gotten this far on my own. -feeling grateful

Right now I am on clear liquids and I'm miserable! My stomach feels like its eating away at itself. My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday and I'm working right up until Tuesday night. I thought it would make the day go by faster but its dragging!!! UGHHHH...lol if nothing else has prepared me for surgery, this definitely has lol.... WEDNESDAY IS THE BIG DAY!

SOOOO...IM IN THE PRE OP DIET STAGE. iVE LOST 24 LBS AND EVERYONE IS COMPLIMENTING ME AND NOTICING MY WEIGHT LOSS. IT FEELS AMAZING! IM LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW LIFE IN MY NEW BODY.

I went to my friends birthday party this weekend and was doing really well. I was surrounded by baked ziti jambalya rice,  chicken wings, cake and cupcakes. I did really well throughout the party. Until it was time to clean up. That's when I ate and ate and ate some more. I had a couple drinks and all of my hard work went out of the window. I know that will be one of my many triggers that I will face after suregery. MY FRIENDS! My two best friends are also big girls and that's what we do. We go out have drinks and eat. That is the basis of our friendship....lol sad but true. I'm hoping that having this surgery will not only change my life but it will help them to get on track and make a lifestyle change.

Today is a new day and I m determined to get back on track and continue losing weight. I realize there will be obstacles and many changes I need to make in my life to be successful...

I went to the Dr. today, I finally have a surgery date!! September 25th is my big day!!!
