Congrats on your surgery! I had my Jan. 21 so I can feel your pain. But as each day goes by it really does get better even though sometimes you will think that the pain will never go away. Remember to sip on lots of water all day. Walking has really helped me even though I am only doing a little at a time. My husband had the surgery three weeks ago and is doing fantastic!

Hello All! Well I made to the other side!!! I had surgery on Monday at 1:oo was taken to my room at at around 7;00pm Made them help me walk at 4:00am AND got to go home Wednesday around 5:30pm. This is not easy by anymeans! I had some rough times there. I ran a fever had part of my lung collapse.SMALL PART Had hives after I got out of surgery. I've always been such a difficult person!! I am still really sore. WALK,WALK,WALK,WALK and BREATH,BREATH,BREATH and COGH,COUGH COUGH are the main things that will help you with this surgery!!!! I had the nurses help me TWICE getting out of bed and after that they left me on my own. I walked 9 times the day after my surgery. It's helps believe me!! Well can't sit long at this chair, I will try to post more tomorrow. Thanks for all the Well Wishers!!!! Deann Chandler
