Well, all my testing has been completed, the surgeon reviewed my case and agreed to the surgery, now everything is being submitted to insurance for approval.  It was submitted on Friday, October 6. I know it's a long shot but I am hoping against hope that I can get approval and surgery completed before October 28. Thats my 29th birthday. I am going to call the insurance company on Wednesday just to see how things are coming along. I already spoke to the surgeon's receptionist; she said she has open dates for the rest of the month.

I am starting to get anxious, even though I dont have a date set yet. BF and I eat out a lot and I keep thinking, I wont be able to eat a meal this big for much longer. And everytime I have a snack or icecream or some other sweet treat, I think, not too much longer like this. Whatever, whenever. It's a little scary. Heck, a LOT scary. But, still, I know it will be worth it, considering the alternatives.

Ok, well, half of my testing is done. I just have to have the psychological evaluation, the nutrition consultation and the follow up with the Pulmonary Dr. One question, fellow bandsters, why did no one tell me how utterly digusting Barium is?? I thought I was going to experience PB'ing even before I've been banded, LOL. Can't wait for this following week to be over so I can begin the insurance process and schedule a date. Life as a loser...Here I come!
