After several years of struggling with infertility my Husband and I were at a standstill. Then we were denied a spot with an adoption placement agency because my BMI was too high. It was a very big blow for us. I decided I had to do something drastic about my weight. I started looking into WLS. Cigna requires six months of monitored weight loss before they will approve surgery. My last six month appointment is in August and I am currently gathering all of my medical records.
I am planning to have the surgery through Duke WLS. I'll update as I know more.
