I had Vsg surgery may 10th 2006 with Dr Feng at Lapriscopic Associates of San Fransisco. wwwlapsf.com. Weight came off very fast. I lost almost 10lbs a week for first 80 lbs. Then with weight down i was able to increase workouts and lose the rest of my excessive weight. I was a light heavy weight started at 305 lost about 20 lbs before Vsg wls. Now i have lost all my weight im at 180lbs and am 6'2" tall sexy fit fireman..lol. Ok really though it has been so much fun. I have had no side effects from surgery. It gave me the tool to control how much i ate and reminded me with "pain" if i over ate anything. All my Co-morbidties went away as weight came off. I had high blood pressure. I had mild sleep apnea. I had Gout. I had high Cholesterol. I had fatty liver. When i had my annual physical last in Aug. 2007 fire department physician was floored at how great of shape im in now. Perfect labs and physical condition.
