 GREAT BIG 2 THUMBS UP!!!!!

I havent posted in a while thought I would send an update....I am 8 months post op and 84 lbs lost FOREVER!!!! YEAH!!! I am so excited, I am wearing a size 12 jeans M/L shirts and I havent been more happoer in my life than I am right now.....I am healthy I am energetic, I am happy and loving my life....I would do it all again in a heart beat.....I have had great support from my family, friends and the OH family....My best friend....my husband...Matt....he has givin me the will and the way to help make it to where I am today, I couldnt have done it without him!!! Things in my life couldnt get any better....I am truely blesses!!! I would love to hear how all of you are doing.....keep me posted...I will get some more pics up today for updates.....much love to you all and continue to be the BEST LOSERS out there.....I know I am....love ya muah!!!

OK everyone I am 10 weeks post-op and I am feeling GRRRREAT!! I have lost 51lbs and I cant wait to lose 50 more....I went for my last check up a week or so ago and I have been giving the ok to start exercising/going to the gym.....it feels really good!! I would do it all again in a heart beat!!! Things have been going really well....I am starting to get noticed again by people other than my husband and it is nice.....My husband has been gone for about 3 weeks and I have already changed alot, I cant wait to see him again in 3 more weeks it is going to be a great reunion (winkwink)....I am very thankful for my OH friends... truely amazing people!! Hello to all, hope all is well!! I am 1 week into my new job......it is going really well however I do get extremely tired by days end.  I know that it is good for me though CUZ Ive lost 10 more LBS!!!! YAY I am down 40 lbs in six weeks since surgery I couldnt be happier!! Today I wore jeans for the 1st time in like 5 years.....I was stoked!!! Im lovin life..... I go back to my nut on the 10th (2.5weeks) so hopefully Ill have more to report....yea!!! take care all and much love to you!!!Happy easter too!!

Well it is one month....I am down 28lbs.!!! Hopefully it will keel comin off.....I am at a stage 5 with a possible ulcer but Doc says with some meds it should be fine, we caught it early enough!!! I go back to work on Monday, still on restriction I can't lift over 5-10 lbs but that is ok....I am so excited about getting out of the house regularly! All has been going really well I pretty much eat whatever I want with some limitations, which I have come to live with.  I will update soon.....take care to you all

I am 15 days out and feeling better then ever, still taking things slow, but I feel better than I did even a few days ago..........it only gets better from here.....I got my staples out a couple of days ago and I was down 24lbs since surgery...YYIIPPEEE!!! Im excited.  My diet has been going good, I havent been able to Puree anything so I just chew chew chew, and that has been working for me.  I go back to the DR on the 13th of March (one month out) and I am curious to see what the lose will be.....keep ya posted...hope all is well.....take care

The surgery went very well, I was in the Hospital for 5 days.  I came home Saturday, my most miserable night!! I havent been able to take the pain meds so I have been "handling" it on my own.  I went for my week check up, doc says everything looks wonderful, right now I am at a stage 4 with my diet, Ive lost 18lbs, and he wants to keep my staples in a few more days.  Other than that I am alittle sore in my muscles in my stomach but other that than not much pain.  I still have a hard time sleeping and staying comfortable so any suggestions would be helpful!! I will update in a few....take care

Starting to get a little nervous....I think that I am thinking about it to much...I am just so anxious that I can't stop thinking about.....ALL of the wonderful things that I have to look forward to....I can't wait!!! Just to be healthy and able to live.....Well that is all for now...Ill post later!!!

  Ok here we go, last week and counting!! I went and had ALL the rest of my appointments yesterday.  I saw the Dr for my psyc eval, I saw the Dietician for my nutritional eval, and I saw my Surgeon for my pre-op!!! I am soooo excited!!! I called today and pre-registered for the surgery, and now all I have to do is wait til 7 more days!!! I am so ready though....my new, healthy life is almost here!!! As long as there are no snags in the road I will be in the hospital this time next week in recovery.......thank you all for listening to all my rants......thank you for the encouragement, the advise, and the knowledge to get me where I am.....Ill update the night before!!! OMG, I got approved today...I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!! I can't believe it.....I am just ecstatic, like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders (no pun intended) so now my surgery is not written in pencil anymore it is permanant!!! yahoooooooo!!!! I will update the next step!!

Just got a call from the Dr's nurse and she said that he dictated my info from my appointment yesterday and that she faxed all the info to Tricare today for approval, she said "usually" with her experience with Tricare she has it back with an approval after a few days!!! So we will still be able to Keep my surgery date on the 12th of Feb.  Im so hyped!! I hope this goes fast!! Im ready!! Will update soon!!
