Well Where do I begin. Ok let's say when i joined the Greatest Navy in the World when i joined I was weighing 175 lbs no fatty food, no pork in my diet at all. So upon me completing my Basic Training and A school i was sent to my first duty station in beautiful Jacksonville,Fl. they sent me T.A.D (Temporary Assigned Duty) of all places to the Base Galley....devilfood everywhere baked good fresh out of the oven cooking my own meals. did that for around 12 months, by the end of the duty of eating, no exercising, partying and a lot of sleeping I was up to a whopping 230 lbs. So time progressing i was getting larger even after working out on the ship (aboard the USS Never Docked) a 120 days out to sea no ports in the weight room i was getting bigger get back home off a six month cruise stop working out got bigger. this went on for about 10 years.

So, lets fast forward to before I retired from the Navy I'm now 300 lbs, bad knee, and bad ankle. even though i was that big Thank God i didn't have high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol all which runs in my family I dodge those bullets. I was going in before my last physical before getting out and retiring my youngest son told me that morning before I before I left he said Daddy, You know you snore real bad and you also stop breathing several times. I was upset with myself for letting my body get in such a bad shape. I was dianose with Sleep Apenea. So now I was sleeping with a CPAP machine.

I started hearing of friends dying in their sleep from sleeping disorders so I knew it was time for a change I wanted to walk my daughters down the aile, play with my grand-children and enjoy life to the fullest!
