Wow, it has been a while

I wanted to come and update my progress. I have not had surgery and now not sure if I ever will. In Feb I started weight watchers and I went for almost 5 months. I learned new ways to eat, and new things to eat. I was a true choc-a-holic. 10 months later and I hardly touch the stuff. I have lost 83 lbs to date. I feel great ! I can walk, and breath at the same time ! 3 months ago I had some changes in my life, and that is when the weight really just fall off. Over half of what I have lost has been in the last 3 months. Something just woke me up, literally. After 35 years of being overweight, most of my life, I feel so good about myself and it keeps getting better everyday :) I wish everyone the best of luck that begins this journey and keep fighting, Its not an easy road, and I feel for anyone who has come to this point. I will still update from time to time, hopefully more than I have.

Today, I weighed and I have lost 12.6 lbs since last week! I am so excited I just had to post.

Ok, I am on my way. I have lost 4 lbs in a week, just by changing some of the things I choose to eat. This so exciting for me ! I have to be on a supervised diet for 6 months, and I want to loose as much weight as I can during this time.
I am so happy I am on my way.

Today, I have made some decisions:
1. I will start moving more.
2. I am going to win this battle with my weight.
3. I will not eat any junk food. I started weight watchers this week. I think this will help in learning to eat right and smaller amounts.
4. I will stop smoking ! I have cut it in half, but that is not good enough, soon, I will be smoke free :)
I have a great support system at work. These girls are such great motivation for me. Even the skinny girls are thinking of ways to help me lose weight.
