 I thought I would actually blog...keep up....it was such a great motivation at first, and then the weight started falling off, and I started LIVING life, instead of watching others lives pass me by!!  I am now 35 years old, at the end of September it will be two years since my lap band surgery!  I have lost 154# to date!  I bought a bike, go for rides with my kids, I PLAY...yes, you read that correctly, I PLAY outside with my babies and I do NOT care who sees!!  I am not at my goal, but I have gone from FAT GIRL CLOTHES STORE TO OLD NAVY!!  WOO HOO!!  What a great accomplishment!!  I can have my blood pressure taken on the CORRECT part of my arm instead of my forearm.  I no longer think about what I am going to eat next, I dont feel left out when folks go out to eat, I go with them, I just eat off of their plates!!   I hardly ever order a plate of my own!! 
I started out in a size 28pants and now wear a size 18pants!!  I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon at the end of this month, and I am excited and nervous to see what he has to say!!  I am hardly on here.....but if you want to chat with me I am on facebook, my name is Delda, and I am from the Kansas City area, I shouldnt be to hard to find...just let me know that you read this blog...so I will accept you as a friend!!  I hope all is going well with everyone out there!!  WOO HOO!!  I AM A LOSER!!!  YIPEEE!!

I am cruising right along!!!  I want food, and I am not gonna lie, I have been on a two week liquid diet and there have been times where I have eaten.....but not like a big mac or things like that, but I have had whole grain cereal and I have had vegetables.   You know that your hungry and that your body is without when all you want is a big fat salad with lots and lots of veggies on it!!!  I have had a couple of times today where I have been a little nervous, made myself a little sick....I am excited, scared and really nervous.....and sometimes it is just one emotion at a time, and other times its all three....
I cant wait for the actual surgery to be done...I know it will be a lot of hard work, and I am ready for that, in fact I do well with challenges....

 so eight days until my BIG day!!  I am so excited, scared, nervous, bus so ready for a change!!  I am on a two week liquid diet....and I think my stomach has turned itself inside out and is currently eating its self.  I am so very hungry...but I am trying to do this.  I NEED to do this.  I have been chomping on sugar free gum...I swear I look like Mr. Ed...that is how hard I have been chewing!!! This is the first time I have been on, and need outside encouragement and strength.  I have great friends at work and they are all cheering me on!!  Well...wish me luck!
