HELLO EVEYONE THIS IS KAREN A FORD I AM ONE WEEK POST OPS. THE ONE THING I CAN SAY IS GOD IS GOOD!!! AGAIN I COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT HIM. I WAS UP WALKING ON THE FIRST DAY AFTER SURGERY. I WAS IN TREMEDOUS PAIN FOR THE FIRST 24 HRS BUT ONCE YOU CROSS THAT BRIDGE EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT. RIGHT NOW I HAVEN'T WEIGHED MYSELF BUT I THINK I HAVE LOST CLOSE TO 20LBS. MEASURING BY CLOTHES. I WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY TWIN KEVA FOR BEING BY MY SIDE. ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO THANK JACKIE POWELL AND FEMETRESS MASSEY FOR SEEING ME THROUGH IT ALL. Hi everyone, this is just a quick note on Karen's condition. I went to the hospital to see her yesterday, she is doing fine. She should be discharged on Friday. She said that she was in quite a bit of pain on the first day but was able to get up and walk the second day. She is very excited about the prospect of her upcoming weight loss. Her twin sister has been able to obtain insurance and has set her appointment to see Dr. Alston. Thanks for everyone's prayers and good wishes.

Karen, we have the same surgeon. It is great to see someone else on here that is using Dr Alston. I hope and pray that your recovery is a speedy one. God bless! Chris

Karen it is a joy to be your angel. For everyone who dosen't know I met Karen and her twin sister at a support group, George's Angels. She made an imprssion on me. She was as determined as I was to have the surgery. She has never given up, even with the insurance problems. I wish you all the best. I will be there for you through this journey and with God's grace it will be alright. I can't wait until the 19th, it might seem like a long time off but it will come and you will be better for it. Remember God loves you and so do I.
