"Each meeting with him b4 surgery was awesome. He had a very pleasant demeanor. He answered all my questions, even allowed me to ask more after I thought I was done. I never felt rushed. Always felt like I had his un-divided attention. He was also great talking to my fiance after the endoscopy, which eased his mind a little about me having the surgery.
In the hospital I saw him before surgery and he asked if I was still ok with having the bypass (i originally had wanted the banding). He explained the surgery again. He came to see me later and relieved any stress that I had. He was on top of everything because the nurses were telling me of all the new orders and such.
All-in-all. I am glad that I chose him. I am glad that he threw out the possibility of doing the bypass vs the banding on the initial visit. I am glad that I did all the pre-op stuff for the bypass even though I was undecided. I was glad that he asked me at each subsequent visit if I was sure abou the bypass. Most of all I am glad that he was the ears, eyes, hands, and knowlege behind my surgery. "
