Research shows that patients who attend a bariatric support group regularly have the best long-term outcomes after weight loss surgery.

If you’re looking for support, I would love to invite you to the bariatric support group I facilitate in Atlanta, Georgia. Our support group is open to everyone, whether you’re considering surgery, have already had surgery, or are supporting a loved one on their journey.

We regularly invite guest speakers because I truly believe you need to fill your “toolbox” with as many tools, strategies, and resources as possible to be successful. Weight loss surgery is an incredible tool, but it’s only one tool. This is a lifelong journey, and the more you learn, the better equipped you’ll be for lasting success.

I know this because I’ve lived it. I am more than 25 years post–weight loss surgery, and I can tell you with confidence that this is a journey, not a destination. Surround yourself with education, support, and people who understand your path. It truly makes all the difference.
