AS a kid struggled with weight issues until the 8th grade. This is when I decided to get serious one summer and took off the weight to get to a 110 pounds. Which I was able to keep in hand from 8th grade until getting married. Then with each child weight would slowly creep on with each child (total of 3). I can remember one gyn saying easy to put on hard to get off. In each pregnancy put on around 65 to 70 pounds. As he said hard to take off. After the first two it seemed to come off after a lot of dieting and exercise. The 3rd pregnancy a bit harder and took a little longer to get off. Finally was able to maintain a weight of around 150-170. And then in 1992 injured my knee at work. With several surgeries to clean knee up still unable to exercise sufficiently and unable to enjoy anything without experiencing pain and swelling the weight began to creep on. And as such here I am facing WLS.
