1st step is becomming re-aquainted with the WLS community and this board. Need to find my way around it once again.
2nd step is to do the pouch test. I've been saying this for months and just can't seem to do it.
3rd step is to start using protein again and to DOCUMENT every thing I eat on Fit Day.com.
4th step is to start exercising....heck I have On Demand with any type of exercise routine. Plus I have a dog to walk.
5th step is to check on meetings. Do they still have them even?
6th step is to creep on my other post op buddies and get advice from them.
POST OP REPORT

The key to success on this journey is following the doctor's rules. Walking and sipping are the two most important things to do. I will try my hardest to continue doing my best. I will not let my emotions overrule me!

PAT'S
Oct 22, 2007
I went to Barix for my PAT's today. I could hardly sleep last night because I was so anxious. The waiting is finally over! I passed all my tests. I had some difficulty with the resp test. They weren't as easy as you think. Well anyway, I passed the blood work and the weight test. My potassium was low but Dr. Kognaski gave me a prescription for it. Much to my surprise, I actually lost 2 pounds. I don't have to do a clear liquid diet until the day before. But I'm going to try to lose an additional 8 pounds.
Well it was a long day and thank God my little Luv Bug Colleen came with me to keep me company. I'm glad she's only 14 because she'd rather be with me than go to school! LOL.
November 2nd will be my new beginning. I hope it's a good one!
I GOT A DATE
Oct 11, 2007
I received a call from Peggy at Barix today. We worked on the date of November 2, 2007. That's the date that I begin my new life. My new healthy life that will lead me into the rest of my life. I am so elated I can not even begin to put it in words. I feel that this is a new beginning for me and nothing is going to make me spoil this.
I joined the gym again today. It felt great to see Betsy, Erroll, and Jill. I know they do not think I should take this step. In fact, I know there are several people who believe its a bad decision. But I'm going to show them they're wrong. I know what's right for me and I believe this is the right road.
I'm very happy to have a surgery sister. Gina, this will be the best experience that we can make it. We will do it together and we will become healthy for ourselves and our loved ones. See ya there!
