My Journey This Far.....

I just finished my 6 month pcp diet...Need a mental eval then I will have all my requirements met for surgery to this point!! I am very excited yet very nervous! This last 6 months has been an eye opener and filled with lots of mixed emotions... I have had some people supportive and some that you can tell are trying to be nice... and of course the one who has decided not to talk to me anymore! haha oh well.. it is events like this when one can see the true colors of others. I originally wanted to have RNY and then changed my mind after a friend suggested looking into DS. I did my research and feel this the best choice for me. I can't wait to actually be able to shop in a "normal" size!!! I have a husband who is pretty supportive to this point.. He doesn't exactly understand totally but he has never had a weight issue. to anyone who maybe starting this journy, please do your research and push through with it!! I am so glad I have met people on OH, you are all great thanks for the answers and support on my journey this far!
