I am not sitting the world on fire with my recent weight loss. I fluctuate from 228 to 238. I know that I need to up my exercise level....;but it has been miserable with temperatures over one hundred nearly every day. I swim for about an hour every day but don't get in much walking. My inlaws are here this week and it is hard to stay on track with all the extra meals. I am hoping that after the kids.and all the stress of dealing with them all day, go back to school that I will stop any emotional eating and get off my butt more so I will do better. I hate wasting this honeymoon period of my revision surgery. I will do better... what I am doing lately is not acceptable.

Hallelujah!  We are finally putting water into our pool. The water pressure is so very slow here that it will probably take a couple of days to fill it up. I am just so very happy that at least it is now up and in the process of getting filled. The pool makes exercising so much more enjoyable and vacation and four kids so much more tolerable!!! Weight hasn't changed  I guess I have reached my first stall since the VSG.  I think I will do just protein shakes and soup for the next 3 -5 days and see if that helps.

I had my last visit with Dr. Roye today. He is moving to Amarillo. He will be greatly missed. My next appointment is scheduled for Dec. 10 and it will be with his associate Dr. Graham. I have only met him one time at a support meeting.  Dr. Roye was very pleased with my progress thus far. I have lost 152 pounds now. Dr. Roye mentioned that perhaps after I get below 200 I would need to have some liposuction done. Hopefully, if I do insurance will pay for it.

Yeah, my last day of school is over. My retirement has officially started!!!  I am excited but kind of scared also.  I don't do well when I have to stay at home where the refrigerator is all the time. I will also have to figure out another exercise routine. I have walked the halls of school since my first surgery. I will have to get up early and walk our dirt road before it gets too hot. Only trouble is that when a  car goes by you get a dust bath.

Another woohoo....the scale this morning was down to 228.  I am also losing inches again. I need to get off here and go fix some chicken or a protein shake.

Woohoo!!!!  Putting up with Field Day did do some good. The scale this morning was down to 230.  I am so excited.  Twenty more pounds and I will have caught up with my husband. This is too exciting. That means that I have now lost eighteen pounds since my revision surgery on May 6.......and 146 pounds since my RNY of July,'05.

Today was Field Day at our school. We walked about a mile over to the High School, did all the events and walked about a mile back. Hopefully, I burned up alot of calories. My weight this morning was down to 232. I love my new surgery.

Sad news at our support meeting Thursday night. Dr. Roye is taking a new position at a hospital in Amarillo. We will definitely all miss him.

Yeah for me!!!! The scale continues to move in the right direction. When I weighed this morning the scale was down to 234. I'm loving it.  I will be at Lisa's from Fri. morning till Tues. after school. She has gone to Missouri to see about starting nursing school.  I will be baby sitting her two foster kids till she gets back. I am going to try to do the liquid diet thing most of the weekend. I go back to see my surgeon and I want there to be a very significant weight loss.

Woohoo !!!!!!  The scales were down to 238 this morning. We have had company for dinner the last two nights. I managed to just go with my protein shake and a few meatballs. I need to get started with my exercising again. My belly is feeling alot better now. I can get up and down without pain now. The only thing that is still rough is when one of my cats pounce on my tummy and I am not prepared for it.

Yeah!!!! The scale was down to 240 this morning. It is such a good feeling to see it moving once again. I am excited about it. Can you tell?  I am still just doing the protein shakes, cream of chicken and jello. I need to try to do my seven minute workout  video again today.

I went to my first post op visit yesterday and my weight is down now to 245 so the scale is finally moving in the right direction again. Dr. Roye removed the nasty jp drain and said that my incision sites were healing nicely. I am still on liquids, although I can step up to the mashed potato type consistency next week. I have definitely regained that old sense of tightness once again. I am going to put on some walking shoes here in a minute and go walk for about thirty minutes if I can hold out that long.
