Nothing earth-shattering here: I have always battled my weight; sometimes I've won, but for the last 10 years I've been losing. (Actually, I've been gaining, ha!) I have not been on every diet known to man, but I've been on most, and nothing has helped me keep weight off. Underneath the fat, I am a very active human being, and I miss exercising and the gym. When I have tried to exercise over the last year or two, my back hurts, my feet hurt, my ankles hurt. I can't wait to get back into the gym. I am a self-pay thanks to an inheritance; I don't like the idea of my insurance making decisions for me. Even if I didn't have the money, I'd find a way to pay for it. I believe that as far as health care, you get what you pay for. I am about 260lbs right now, although I may be up to 265lbs. Now that I have my date (Nov 3) I don't care how high I get -- although all my clothes are getting tight! Other than that I'm going to eat my way up to my date.
