Jan 29 2009 I have been investigating the procedures as well as a practice and a hospital in my area.  My GP suggested the hospital as the best in South Florida for this.  I have been to the practice for an office visit and met the Nurses and office personnel.  I recieved there package of materials. I went back for a free consult to meet the doctor in that office who had my Insurance. He was up front and concise open to any questions or concerns. I left comfortable with the people and the practice. Last week Nurse Peggy called me and she faxed over what I need to provide them to submit to BCBS FL State PPO. I had an appointment with my GP Monday and she is getting all she has been asked for together. I have gotten my puliminologist appointment and have had my last sleep study sent to the WLS office. Tomorrow I call and check to see if everything has gotten there ok. If not I call the right office and move things along. At least the next few weeks are busy for me at work so I will be distracted.
