Regina, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Regina~Let me be the first to wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery! I am 5 weeks post~op from a LAP RNY done at NEMC in Boston, and am feeling GREAT! I'd do this again in a heartbeat! Take good care of yourself~your "new birthday" will be here before you know it!
