Life has been a up hill battle with a down hill effect for me. I grew up overweight, over fed, under educated of the effects my weight will have on me as an adult. I have diabetes, hypertension, thyroid issues, DJD in my knees and back, mental and physical issues (in which I got counseling and it was the best thing I could have ever done).
I am currently a size 26/28. My current weight (298 lbs as of 8/13/2013). I have weighed as much as 350lbs. The goal weight for me is 155 lbs. I can't wrap my mind around that one just yet because I don't remember ever being under 200 lbs. Was over 200 lbs when I started middle school. (how depressing).
It's day by day, inch by inch for now and I am determined to never look back. :) Good luck to everyone out there. You got to believe in yourself before others can believe in you.
