Timothy Duckett
"I had heard and read many things about Dr. Duckett in a negative sense compared to his partner Dr. Oweis. Patients found him to more abrasive, not as delicate, a little rougher in how he put things as well as how he handle things. The moment I met Dr. Duckett I knew we were going to get along. I have enjoyed having him as my surgeon. I have met with Dr. Oweis once and Dr. Duckett the rest of the other times. I much prefer Duckett. I, however, am one who prefers information straight up and not "sugar coated". Tell me what to do, how to do it, etc and I'll get it done. I don't need fluffy speeches. Both emphasized that this procedure is a TOOL not the FIX. They both explained what would be done and what would need to be done at home post-op. The risks were discussed very thoroughly including the day of surgery. Duckett did both pre-op and release day information with me and I was very satisfied with his care on both occasions. Their office staff has been great to work with. Beth is absolutely wonderful. She is the nurse you talk to whenever something needs done. They worked really hard with me on scheduling appointments, both with them and for all my testings, so I missed the least amount of work (I'm a teacher)."
