Sorry to hear that your surgery was cancelled. I know how heart breaking it can be to get your hopes up. Don't let this discourage you. It is just a delay so get with your doctors and get everything taken care of so you can continue your WLS journey. Best wishes. Annette

Virginia, I to want express my best wishes for you. I am so sorry that they had to cancel you surgery today, but your Dr knows that you would not want to go into surgery and be at a greater risk then usual. My prayers are with you and hopefully in 4 to 6 weeks you will be in there having your WLS. Dan

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go as planned but I fully believe that everything happens for a reason, this way you will be stronger come time for surgery.

Thanks again guys but I have very sad news! I did not pass the cardiac echo stress test and I can't have the surgery on Wednesday. I failed the test and I had to go Friday and have an angiogram and they found a 75% blockage in the front artery of my heart. The Dr. ballooned and put in a stint and now I'll have to wait for at least 4-6 weeks for the surgery! I am so glad Michael that you already have all test done and your surgery is still a go...I am so disappointed I could cry.

Thanks Michael and Lady A. I'm really looking forward to getting this over with so I can concentrate on getting all my protein and vitamins in. I had my pre labs done last Thurdsday and then I got a bad cold. I'm hoping it's gone by the 23rd.
