Well... It's been some time since I been on here, but, I am happy to say that I have been doing great!!  I have lost more weight even after my 2 year mark so I feel good about that...  I look at myself in the mirror and I still cannot believe that I look the way I do... I even scare my self... LOL...

I will keep in touch a little more often...  Best of luck to everyone and keep the pounds rolling off!

Well... I am one year out and 113 pounds down... I feel great and I must say... I am content with my life at this point.  I do feel that I could have lost a bit more for my first year, but, I am not giving up...I am going to reach my goal.  I want to loose another 40 pounds and then I will be extremely happy.

Nevertheless...I am happy.  The best part of this journey for me is that I feel great and healthier as well as younger 

I wish everyone that is on this journey and for all that are starting their journey the best of luck... and thanks to all that remembered me on my special day!!  It meant alot!!

Hello everyone... I finally got the time to stop by and give a short update on our status...(my daughter and me).

Well...Joanna is doing just great...feels wonderful and has lost around 60 lbs as of now.  She is just smoothly moving along.  I am very happy for her.

My status on the other hand is a bit slower paced...   I am a bit STUCK!!!  I have been stuck for about 1 to 2 months...then I lost 6 pounds and then got re STUCK again.  I am a bit aggreviated at this point.  I walk...I move...I am careful...but... I have noticed that I am losing inches...and everyone tells me I look thinner so I guess the inches are coming off and I am looking for the weight??  I guess I just have to keep on trying.

Well...that is about it for now...If anyone has any suggestions at all please let me know... I am looking forward to hearing any suggestions.

Oh...by the way... I am starting the Plataeu Buster diet in the morning so...I will keep you all posted..

Hi all...figured I would stop bye and give you an update of my progress as well as my daughter's...

I am slowly loosing and I am at a 70 pound loss as of now... My daughter is out now only 6 weeks and doing great...she is down about 40 pounds and looks fabulous...I am so proud of her.

We are doing just great and supporting eachother...what else can a girl ask for

Well...here she goes...Joanna is going to get her pre op blood drawn tomorrow...

My worry is that she is hypoglycemic and I am absolutely petrified she is going to pass out...My husband and I are both dreading this!!!

I hope they get her in and done quick and no problems...please keep her in your prayers...we are gonna need it.

Well...It's official...my daughter, Joanna, has been approved for her WLS !!! 

Whooo Hoooo.... SHE ALSO HAS HER DATE...HER SPECIAL DAY IS DECEMBER 8TH...

I am so happy for my baby...I can only hope and pray that all will go well for her and her surgery...I know this will be a fresh start for her and she is going to do just fine...we ARE a mother/daughter team and we are going to have fun with this journey that we have started together.

Hi All...

Just wanted to stop by and let everyone know that I am doing very well...  I am still getting used to eating and my new pouch.  I guess you can say...everytime I eat...it becomes a new learning experience....but it's all good

I am losing weight a bit slow right now...I seem to get stuck for a few days and then drop some...I guess it doesn't matter to me how it comes off as long at the end of the month it adds up to a good number.

I am going to start at a gym...tomorrow with my daughter...this will really help me.  I am a busy person and I don't have time to take a walk around the block, but, you know how it is...If  you are paying for something you WILL go...so I am starting this as soon as possible...that will help with the weight loss for sure.  I also have a struggle getting in my protein....ALL OF THE SHAKES stink to me.  And I mean ALL of them...I cannot get them down...flavored and unflavored...and all different name brands...forget it.   Makes me gag.  So...I am a bit stuck in that department for now...other than that...all is just hunky dory.


Well I guess that is about it for now.

Well...here is a little update on my status...

I am doing just wonderful  and I am so happy.

I am feeling great...no more pain...and I am soooooooo happy I had this surgery. 

The only problem I have is that I cannot get all my protein in.  Other than that...smooth sailing right now (THANK GOD!!)

Best of luck to all that are going in for surgery...don't worry...all will be just fine!!

I feel so much better today...I am so much less sore...I am able to walk easier, breathe easier...and plain old sit easier....

I don't know why, though, I do have a dizzy/light head feeling...it is just a little, but, I don't know why.

Has anyone had this feeling??

Even with the lightheadness, I am still much more content...

I am just trying to make sure to get my protein in and drink all my water...

Well if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know...

Hello all...

I am happy to say that I came home last night around 8 p.m.  All went well...Thank God!..  Just have quite a bit of pain...ribs are killing me...other than that...I am sure I will be better in a couple of days and won't even remember the pain.  LOL..

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts...I really appreciated it....
