Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 108 pounds AND AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!! Good luck

Hi Jamie! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Hey JAmie,,,, Its almost here,,, me an you on the 25th begin new lives... Next time we go to wal-mart we will be lookin at the swimsuits... LOL Maybe the thongs....... HAHAHAHA NOT!!!!! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will experience ups and downs. Just remember that we, your AMOS family, will always be here for you. We will offer support and encouragement. You will find this to be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that I did. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow!
