Where, oh where, to begin. Let's see. When I was younger, I remember the pediatrician telling my mom that if she didn't do something to control my weight, that I would be 200 pounds by 16. At 16, I weighed in at 200 lbs. The most weight I've lost at 1 time was 50 lbs. That was in 2000. I started at about 299 and went down to 249 using a low carb diet and plenty of exercise. Not long after the weight was off, I got pregnant. I gained every pound back plus some. It took 3 years to get back down to about 280 lbs. And guess what, I got pregnant again. I found myself back up to 300 lbs. A year later, I lost 20 lbs., back down to 280. And got pregnant AGAIN but I had a miscarraige. I vowed that before I lost another pound, I was either getting my tubes tied or my husband had to have a vesectomy. We opted for the latter. With 2 c-sections under my belt, it was his turn. He missed a day of work and was at the movies with his brother the night he had the procedure. I would have been barely able to move and out of work for about 6 weeks. Men have all the luck. Well, between 2004 and now, I have lost and gained and lost and gained. Usually only 20lbs either way. It has been a roller coaster ride and I want off.
On December 11, 2007, I hit my all time high (or low) at 312 lbs. I felt HORRIBLE. On December 20th, I was down to 307, with the help of phentermine. I'm sure I've gained some of that back over this winter break. I go back to my pcp on January 8th. I will update my weight then. Ok, a new alI time high was hit when I went back up to 314 lbs. in April.
