Wood County Hospital

"I wish they had a designated bariatric area for WL patients. Some of the nurses didn't seem informed on what type of surgery I had. Some seemed surprised. I'd like to think they were given report on my surgery type. I had two amazing nurses and two horrible nurses that stuck out. In general, my care was not too great, as my husband had to care for me and stayed with me the three days."

Peter F. Lalor

"I found Dr. Lalor to be very professional, extremely competent and very cautious. My first consult surprised me. He is a rare surgeon that has personality and took the time to get to know me as a person, not just a patient. He answered every question on my list and made me feel very comfortable. He explained the benefits, risks and other details. He has both excellent surgical skills as well as an amazing bedside manner. He saw me daily in the hospital and was quite encouraging. His office staff is top notch, although I do wish there would be someone available off hours to speak with. "
