I had my VSG on Tuesday and so far I'm doing really well! The first day/night in the hospital was really rough, and I definitely experienced that "dear lord, what did I just do to myself?" moment, but every day gets easier. I haven't needed any narcot

I'm still a ways out from the point where I'd even schedule my VSG, but my hyper-organized brain is already trying to think about logistics.

I live in the same city where my surgery will take place, but I am debating whether or not to stay with

My bariatric center has a support group that meets every month. While attending pre (or even post) surgery isn't required, they do suggest that it's a beneficial exercise. I'm a little hesitant, however, because I tend to feel shy and uncomfortable in

I met with my surgeon today to go over the results of my endoscopy! Everything looks good, and I was super excited that his recommendation lined up with the surgery I'd been leaning towards. If all goes well, I'll be getting the VSG at the end of the y
