Once again this is from her husband!  Bev is still feeling the "blads"/feeling miserable all over/can't keep any liquids down,etc.  Have a call into the Surgery Clinic(MAMC) for some help/advice/meds?????.  She just "threw up" almost 11/2 cups of reddish/clear fluids at 3PM(haven't had but very little water lately before the episode)  She is wondering if anyone has heard of this problem post-op!!!  She said that she would "get on-line" as soon as she feels better (hopefully tomorrow as far as I am concern and I am sure she feels the same? Today I went for my pre-op stuff ...it went well only had to be stuck twice for the  10 tubes that were drawn......I will call on Fri for the surgery time.....i'm getting nervous.......I feel really good about having this done  my friend in Memphis......reminded me of a scripture  "Fear not for I am with you " it got me through the bllod draw they usually stick me several times and have a hard time getting enough blood for 1 tube ......the tech kept saying this is a mircle......I believe it was......!!!for me that is the hardest part.....needles .....everything else went really well...and fast I got there around 9;00 and I was done by 11:30 ...so not I wait till friday for the surgery time and then mon for my S-Day......I'll be thinking about you tomorrow Annie......

I finally have an angel. Brandy and I have become really good friends, and she is going to be my angel. And then I am going to be her angel in return. 
My surgery date is just 9 days away. It is going to be here before I know it. A week from Monday...wow... I am almost done getting ready as much as I can. My fridge is stocked and my protein powders should be here Monday!

I'm scheduled to have my surgery at Madigan on March 3 2008 and I'm a bit nervous......I'm 60 years old and my BMI is 50.5. I wonder if it will really come down ....I'm trying to get prepared for the S- Day ordering protein and vitamins I love the book before and after that was recommended by Jill at the support meeting on tues.....I wonder if I crazy for doing this at my age....I really appreciate the help I've gotten from this website .
