After working with Dr. Schweitzer at Hopkins for about a year I was finally approved by Cigna for DS!

Just about this time Dr. Schweitzer has decided he will no longer perform the DS. What a bummer eh?

So at this point I am shopping around for a new surgeon (with approval in hand from CIGNA!).

I'm looking at the Program at Abingdon, PA with Dr. Gintaras Antanavicius and also looking at Rita Anderson at Kettering.

Abingdon is about 2 1/2 hours away and it's possible to commute by car for the appointments. Kettering is 9 hours from here :(
