1 Month Later....

Nov 01, 2009

Well it has been one month since surgery and what a roller coaster ride. The fist two weeks suck. Lots of pain, gas pain and just sad wondering what you have done to yourself. I mean the head hunger is crazy. Once that all passed and the wait was falling off, my mood brightened and well I know this is so worth it. It is not easy by any means...Not at all and I am still learning but i know for once in my life I will be happy healthy and skinny LOL

I have lost about 50 pounds...kinda crazy so fast. I'm down almost 3 jean sizes and my skin in incredible. Everyday someone is commenting on it. I take my vitamins religiously and stick to the diet. I haven't started my exercise program yet but in 2 weeks I will. I still get a lil sore on my left side.

As for eating I am very slow at it. 1/2 cup is usually what I can intake with food and 1 cup for liquid over about 30 mins or more. So far no problems but I am sticking to everything very strict!

I feel great, I'm looking great and my self esteem is building. Sometimes I still see 50 pounds heavier but it will take time. My mom is my biggest fan and my best friend for the first time in my life This surery brought us so close and I couldn't be happier. All I need now is to find a good man LOL

PATS DAY

Sep 21, 2009

WELL if yesterday couldnt get any worse. I wake up early, get ready and pack up. I'm actually gonna be early and am excited. I walk out of my motel room and stand there in the rain looking at my smashed truck window. The passenger window was busted out and my gps stolen(it wasn't up on the window) I was sooo defeated at this point. Waiting for the police, got sooo lost to the clinic and was an hour and a half late...SIGH.....I make it through the day. The maintence guy was wonderful, wrapped up my whole door so I could drive home...It was a rainy day of course! I made it home safe and sound and look back and go WOW.....I'm still not laughing but I don't know if I would recommened the Red Roof Inn...Police told me it is a bad area(Belleville) and a lot of this happens!

The Pats itself was great...chest Xray, bloodwork, urinalysis, breathing tests,EKG and a nutrition class, plus meet an iternist. Great day with lots of information and I got my surgery time. Wed Sept 30th at 930 AM Woot!

Sittin' In Michigan PATS tomorrow

Sep 20, 2009

WEll what a day this turned out to be LOL I got to laugh cuz I almost cried. I guess I have no clue about America and let me tell you it is NOTHING like Canada ahahah

so I only had Canadian funds on me thinking no big deal, the hotel will take it...NOPE.....and on a Sunday I'm shit out of luck hahhah didn't bring any credit card of course, that would be that I forgot the card part of my wallet at home LOL just me and a passport with money that means nothing here. After 2 hours of hauling around I found a Canadian Taxi Driver who sold me some American...he made his money and well I'm finally sitting here in the Red Roof Inn(very nice for the money)

Soooooo now I don't have much time to stress over tomorrow 7am is my PATS.....I'm tired and shaking my head on what a place this is...I'm really not even typing the half of it but I did learn my lesson.. God I Love Canada!!!!!!!

I'll keep you posted after tomorrow and let you know how it goes down.

One Love
Kristina
