It's been a good while since I posted anything. Several things have changed for me. For one, I got approved for Medicaid (PRAISE GOD) so now there is a hope of me getting this surgery. I am going to Dr. Erik Wilson's seminar on April 7th, here in Houston. If I like what I hear and by talking to him, I will schedule an appointment in his office. Now when I started on these boards a few months ago, I was interested in the DS surgery, and thought that was the one for me. Since then I have now decided almost 99% that the VSG is for me. I won't go into details as to why, because I don't want people trying to talk me out of it. I have made this decision for very personal reasons and just feel right about this. I am still researching though as my mind is not made up, (until after I talk with my doctor) of 100%, I just ask that you don't give me grief because you may feel your surgery is the best, well I need to have the surgery that is best for me, and all the after effects that go along with it.I am one step closer in my surgery though, now having insurance, so as I pray and continue to move forward, one step at a time, I continue to have faith and know with peace that it is all in God's hands now.
