Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Make sure you use it wisely. Choose the right foods and measurements wisely! Feel free to look at my profile and see my ups and downs and know I’d not change a thing with anything I’ve experienced. Hey My Sweet Crystal! I am just trying to catch up on all my emails and postings and wanted to let ya know I haven't forgotten ya. I appreciate so much your love, support and prayers for me!!! Thank you for all the emails that you've sent, they are so inspirational and help me in so many ways. Still having trouble forwarding some of the things on, but have kept them till I can get my boys or Greg to help me with that. I noticed on your profile that your computer is down, or else I would've sent you email and not been so personal here. But since you're checking this site, thought you'd get this msg. I see that you've just been back to the doctor this week and I'm so sorry that you were faced with a gain. Just please don't give up! Hang in there and meet all those insurance requirements and I'm sure you'll get your approval! As I was told, gains don't matter so much, they just want to see that someone is making an effort and complying to the requirements. So, you're over halfway there and YOUR TIME will be here before ya know it!!! I just have faith that God is going to work this out for you, as He did me and things are all in His time. As you tell me~~~just keep looking up! I also saw that your son & family are there with you now and will be leaving tomorrow. Along with news of their moving, as you suspected. I know your heart is heavy with them being so far away, it has to be so hard! I haven't faced that yet w/my children, but know it will probably come in time. I'll be remembering you in prayer for this as well. I hate to keep on with all these personal things on your open page, but didn't know how else to contact you. Please let me know when your next Dr. visit is and I'd love to see you again if possible. I meant to get your numbers when we met, but just failed to do so. Just email me and let me know when you're gonna be in Dothan and how to get in touch with you and I'll give ya a holler. Better go for now and not fill up your page with all my rambling. Hey Angel Girl! Just got your msg off my surgery page and wanted to thank you as always for your support and love! (I'm sorry, I thought I'd shared with you about my surgery date, etc., guess it was one of those msgs that didn't go thru.) Thank you so much for your prayers, that means the world to me. Crystal~~ Hi, I jsut stopped by to say HI and to wish you luck. It is hard I know doing the 6 month WL. Dang INsurance companies should have to walk a mile in our shoes when they started this. Keep you chin up cause you CAN and WILL make it though this. If I Can do it any one can. I am now 9 months out. I used Doc. Beaver at Wiregrass surgical. He is also a great doc as well as Robbins. Hey Girl! Your profile looks great!!!! Did you do it, or one of the folks at OH? I just love the flowers (purple is my favorite) and background too. Hi Crystal, I was checking my profile and saw that you sent me a note. Thanks, it's always nice to hear from someone that's in this same journey. I read your profile~~it looks like we have a lot in common as far as the six month diet scenario. 8-24-05 Went for my first consult today with my surgon. I am real upset. Found out that I have to have a 6mo supervised diet before my insurance will cover my surgery. I have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, high chlesterol, sleep apena and they want me to have a supervised diet. I have been on diets all my life but it has to be this year and supervised by doctor. will update more later.
