Look so much older

Oct 08, 2016

I'm 66 years old. I had my RNY surgery on April 12 and have lost 94 pounds to date. I've gone from 296 to 202. My goal is 195 so I'm getting close. I'm very pleased with the weight loss and my health has greatly improved. My diabetis is gone, as is my sleep apnea. I feel so much better and I move so much better.

The only negative is that I now look so much older. I feel as if I look at least 10 years older than before. I know it's because I have added an awful lot of wrinkes to my face and neck and because I've lost quite a bit of already thinning hair. But nevertheless, this was something I had not expected. I thought that by losing weight, I would look younger, not older. Below are two pictures of me, One before surgery and one taken last week.

Has anyone else experienced this sudden aging?
