Getting There!

Feb 22, 2009

Well I am officially at 156.5 lbs and 21.5 lbs from goal.  I feel very comfortable where I'm at.  I still need to recommit everyday to eating the best for my body.  This will be a life long commitment and challenge.  Need to take vitamins EVERYDAY and track my protein better.  I probably get most of my protein in, but really should track it better.  hair is growing back from the initially surgery fall out.  Luckily I have thick hair and a cute haircut helped camouflage any hair loss.  I have more energy.  The other day I was walking out to get the mail and stepped wrong and fell on my knee on the driveway.  I didn't get hurt hardly at all, but if I was 90+ lbs heavier I would've been a lot worse off.  So many blessings from weight loss.  I'm in my third semester of four of nursing school.  It's going well.  I'm looking forward to being done and having more time with my family and husband.  My husband will have rny surgery in June.  One year after my surgery.  It will be good for his health.  He has sleep apnea, diabetes and high cholesterol and triglycerides.  I want him to be around for many more decades.  The surgery will put him on this path.  Until next time...
