Hospital experience

Oct 22- I had to be at the hospital at 6:05 to check in for surgery, I got there and there was a whole room of people waiting to and the check in person was there yet so we waited till 6:30 when she got so we just hung out and took pics and stuff until then, as soon as she got there we were taking back to Pre-op room at 7 and they started the whole getting ready for surgery process, the anesthesiologist came in told me what they were going to do and started trying to hook me up to the Iv that is right I said try it took them 20 times to try to get it in and with every time they tried they had to do it twice, first they would numb it and then try to get the veins so that was 40 pokes all together I was in tears and everything and what pissed me off is they got it the last time at the place I told them before they even started that is where I always get it done but they didn't listen to me grr.... At 8:30 I was in surgery and got out at 11 and was put in recovery room until 4pm because there was no beds in the step down unit but I have to say it was nice being there because my nurse just let me sleep but I was so high on drugs and all my hubbys chaplains and nco's came to check on me and I was talking out of my head so bad but atleast now they know everything about me lol at 4:30 I was in my room and got to rest till about 7 when i got up and started walking, they told me to walk 2 laps but I did 15 I had so much energy and then I came back and went to bed, I got a good night sleep except for the nurses coming in every so often but I expected that...

Nov 23- I woke up around 7 and had the worse dry mouth but my sip test wasn't scheduled till 11am so I had to wait, at 11 I went for the sip test where I drink a lil drink of yucky stuff and they put me up against an xray to make sure I had to leaks or anything and everything went great so I was given the okay to start the liquid diet, I went back and got ice chips and water and omg it was soo good, the rest of the day I would sit up or do laps around and then take a nap here and there but I felt so great I had been on mophin pump for 2 days but had only pressed the button 3 times so they got rid of it because I really didnt need it.. I also got my cathedure taken out and I felt like a big girl I got to use the potty lol I stayed on the water the rest of the day and around 9 I decided to go to bed, so I got up to pee and I had my first bowl movement and it felt like liquid but when I got up it was nothing but blood in the toilet and my heart rate went up to 160-165 so the nurses rushed in and hooked me up to machines and were flipping me over and everything it scared the crap out of me they called my doctors assistant and he came and they couldnt figure it out my ekg was good and everything so he told me they would have to keep me one more day to figure stuff out so finally my heart went down to 105-125 and I tried to go to sleep at 3:30 it started all over again with the same thing... I didnt get much sleep that night because they kept coming in every 30 mins to make sure I was okay and everything

Oct 24- The doctors found out that the Heprin shot I was on which I was given atleast 6-8 times is what was making me bleed my blood was to thin so they took me off of it and it worked I havent had any more experiences like that thank God... so they had me walking most of that day and around 6pm they gave me broth and jello I got a little bit of the broth down but the jello was to sweet for me... saturday nothing really happened, I walked, hung out with friends and family and slept lol

Oct 25- I was given the okay to go home!! at 2pm I was released I have never been so happy to  get out of a place, they kept me on the clear liquid diet for 2 weeks and every since I have been home i have felt great!!
