Heather is my ANGEL. She is one of the most beautiful people I know, heart and soul. She looks incredible, and has given me the strength to do this for myself. I love you Heather. Kori

Dear Heather, I am so proud of you for going through with this and crossing over to the other side. You are doing great...remember that to get to where you want to be...you have to go through this first. You are at the beginning of the race and this time you will make it to the finish line. Go GO GO...From Molly in Montana

I talked to Heather tonight, she sounded GREAT! She said her surgery (lap) was about 6.5 hrs. She went in at 8:15 a.m. and was in her room at 6p.m. She had a long day! She had a complication called "reverse pulmonary adema" but is doing fine now. The surgeon said "everything went fine" and teased about how hard she thought it would be to tie a knot with chopsticks (because of the lap equipment). She has been up and walking around. She said she's had gas pain and some rib area pain. She expects to go home on Sunday and is eager to do so. Heather sounded terrific! Very positive! She sounds ready to start her new life! I'm going to visit her tomorrow, can't wait to meet her!

I am wishing you the very best of luck with your surgery and letting you know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will be having my surgery on 9/18 and am so excited. Remember to say a little prayer, turn it all over to the Good LORD and then have faith, then all you have to do is enjoy the new life you have chosen to give yourself. Way to go we are going to do GREAT. ....^j^.....
