Finally home!

Initial surgery went well and the healing went too well I guess cause I ended up with a piece of bowel healing over the opening and needing a second surgery on the 13th. Fifty plus years with no surgeries and then two within a few days - let me tell you this old body did not appreciate that! I am thankful they found the problem early and solved it, so that now I can heal and really start changing my life for the better..

I am bummed that all the IV fluids caused me to regain 22 pounds lost previous to surgery but they say that will come off quickly so celebrations to changing my life are coming up!
