WOW my life story is so long, but I will make it short. I've been struggles a lifetime with my weight. As I child I use to be tease about me chucky and I never thought that I was a beautiful young lady. My grandmother always told me that I was very pretty. I gain a lot of weight with my twins 12 years ago. I lost the weight than gain it back after having my 6 yrs daughter. In 2004 when I had my 4 yrs daughter, I just couldn't never lose the weight. After trying other diet out there I could, LA Weight Loss, Nutri System, Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher, and the list go on. I started having problem with my legs and my back and my old doctor just kept telling me to just lose the weight.
I recently got very ill and couldn't move I found a different doctor and I was telling him all of the pain I'm having and severe back and legs pain. I also explain to him going up my stairs in my house was getting me out of breathe. I notice even walking in the store I will be hurting and shortness of breathe. Well the shocking NEWS that my doctor told me.
He said Sweetheart you have to have a Gastric bypass, if you want to live. He explain with all of the health issues that I currently have that the only open that will work. I have been researching the surgery for about 1 years and just didn't have the nerves to do it. Now I'm finally ready. I want to see my 4 children grow up. I realize I just 37 years and I have a lot to live for.
I have starting the process I will have my first meeting with surgeon on Monday Sept. 29, 2008. I have spoken with my insurance company and they told me what they need and if they anything is done correctly they cover 100 % of the surgery. I'm currently 303 pounds.
