Well my weight loss is at a stall but I really cant ask for much more. I never thought this would happen. I went from a size 24 to an 8. I can shop at buckle and Express which is so exciting. I have had a great year. Traveled so much...much more than I would ever have at my starting weight. People dont recognize me which can be uncomfortable espeically if you want to say hi but they look at you as if they have no idea who u r. LOL. Everyone also calls me Amy more than ever which is my sister. They say we look just alike now. My blood work is awesome still no need for medicine for diabetes. I would love to have a tummy tuck..cant image how small I would be after that. But honestly I am truly satisifed with my decision and truly blessed. Hope all of you had a great christmas and have an awesome new year.

Where do I begain....first I hear so many of us say I wish I had the surgery sooner. However I know that God opened the door for me at the right time. My life has changed and it is exciting to wake up everyday. I spent many years locked inside my house, afraid to go into the world. I didnt want to be seen because I was so ashamed of my weight. I had a conversation the other day with a friend and we discussed how the weight basically made every decision I made. Was I too big to fit in the booth if we went out to eat. If I go here with this person am I  too big to ride in her car. So on So on...you know the drill.

Well I had the surgery July 22 2008 and I weigh 125 pds less and I went from a size 24 to 10. Did I stick to the program..not always but you learn quickly to get back on the wagon. I regret not working out like I should have. I will need some cosmetic surgery after I have kids but with everything in my life if it is mean to be it will be.

I have more energy, confidence and a zest for life now. I am not afraid to stick up for myself and to take a chance. I hope that all those struggling with weight will have faith that it will happen for you.

Stay strong and find it in yourself to allow you to make the decisions not the weight

My weight loss has slowed to a few pounds a month. I am still blessed to even lose that! Loving life and just celebrated my 32nd birthday and it was the best. Coming up on my Surgiversary on 07/22/2009. Hope to be at a loss of 120 pds~

Feeling better than ever and loving life...

Just when you get down about the weight not coming off you look at the scale and suprise! 7 pds for the month. Heck yeah I will take that.

So last week I hit the 100 pound loss


Very exciting news!

Went to the doctor and they tested my blood sugar since I am diabetic. It came back as a 5 which means NO MORE MEDICINE to control my blood sugar. She said that number is basically someone without diabetes! DO WHAT?? I am so excited that I just want to run around and scream my head off!!! LOL

I still have to test my blood every six months just to monitor it.

I was so scared I was going to die because of this disease and now I just want to do everthing I have ever been afraid to do I feel like a new chapter of my life just started and it is one without fear.

Oh and today I am down 94 pounds since July 2008!   Cant wait to reach that 100 pd goal!

Ok now i am 92 pds lighter...can't wait to reach the 100 pd mark. I just got back from Vegas and I rode a roller coaster for the first time in 15 years. Didn't have to worry about fitting in the seat. Hope all is well in your life and hope to be bk to post my 100 pd loss blog

Ok...down 7pds. The weight hasn't come off quickly this month as before. I have been working out and actually got on the treadmill and ran. I was only able to run 6 mins but VERY PROUD of myself. I am able to shop at normal stores now which is exciting. I am off to Vegas for Superbowl and SO EXCITED. Life is good and I am so blessed with love and happiness!

I am down 80 pds as of Christmas,...it was the best christmas ever!
