I stopped by to see Isabella last night at the hospital. She was doing great! (Listening to some tunes on her cd player when I got there.) Dr. Z came by while I was there and told us that everything went very well and he was pleased. She is -- like many people -- annoyed with the NG tube, but that should come out today after the leak test. She did not go to ICU, so was up on the 10th floor and pretty alert. She's not local -- from upstate NY and Dr. Z was the closest surgeon in her network -- so any DANBURY, CONNECTICUT people, if you're going to be near the hospital, stop by to see her. Her own friends and family are either upstate NY or in Wisconsin, so she could use some local support -- I'm sure....:)
