Tere got home today around 4:30, stopped by to bring her a few things. She looks great, but did you expect anything less of her. I'm so glad you are home and doing well. Boy and let me tell you, she really felt great after she drank some of those yucky liquid meds. It hit the spot, now just have to wait 4 hours for another. She was glad to be in her own house. Just needs to keep the cats out of all the nice flowers she got.YOU'RE DOING GREAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! LOVE YA XOXOXOXOO P.S. I DO WANT ALL OF YOUR CLOTHES...HAHAHAHHHA

Barbara, my prayers will sure be with you on the 24th. Once you are on the other side your heart will become healthy and strong! You will put your new computer training to work for you, and be happy and successful! I wish you the best now and always, God Bless you.

Dropped by the see Tere after spending a few minutes with Rhonda (I was on my way to my 1 week post-op appointment). Tere thought she had crossed over from that really terrible feeling at about 10 a.m. this morning. Although due to lack of nursing support, she's not out walking as much as she should, she looked wonderful. Not quite the same beautiful woman I saw last week when she visited me, but.....she looked like she was on the road to recovery. Keep Tere in your thoughts and prayers. She may be discharged soon to convalese in a local motel for a few more days (since she is from out-of-town).

I spoke with Tere yesterday and she was in a lot of pain and loving her morphine pump. Today I spoke with her son Richard and he said she is doing so much better today. She had all the tests for leaks etc. and the doc said everything looks great. She should be released and return to the hotel tomorrow. Tere is some kind of wonderful. She just had this major surgery and is feeling really #@!%$# and yet she is cheering me on and telling me to get better from the flu. You're wonderful Tere and I know everything will continue to be only good for you. Love You! ((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))

TERE, I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE. THANKS GODS FOR CARRYING TERE TO THE OTHERSIDE..... NOW TERE YOU NEED TO TELL DUM NURSES THAT YOU DEMAND TO BE PUT ON THE PROPER FLOOR WHERE THE NURSES ARE TRAININED TO HANDLE US GB PATIENTS. I FOUND OUT THAT SURICAL NURSES MAKE MORE MONEY TO CARE FOR US. AND SINCE WE ARE PAYING FOR THE BILL, (INSURANCE INCLUDED) WE WANT COMFORT TOO, AND TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE WHO IS PROPERLY TRAINED TO TAKE CARE OF US JUST INCASE SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN,i RATHER KNOW THAT A CANDY STRIPPER IS NOT GIVING ME A SHOT!!!!! IM SURE YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ANYWAYS TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS YOU.WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.....DREAMS DO COME TRUE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVES...LOL...JAY BILLER

Hey Tere! It sounds like you and Rhonda both had to be tied! Doesn't sound like 4E isthe place to be. But Rhonda has made it to the 8th floor, I'm sure you will too. I'm so glad to hear all of our best angels are all on their way and crossed to the other side. Lots of Love and Best Get Well Wishes ....

I spoke with Tere this a.m. She is (how shall I say) FIT TO BE TIED! She is on 4E at the University of Sacramento Medical Center where, unfortunately, most of the nurses have never heard of gastric bypass surgery. Most patients are lucky enough to be on 8E where all the nurses are highly trained and educated in the special needs of bypass patients. Tere asked me to call CJ in the bypass department to see if she could work out a change in room assignments. I haven't heard back, but I'm hoping that they find a spot for her close to her buddy Rhonda on 8E. I have no idea exactly what was going on, other than Tere was upset!!! Let's keep both Rhonda and Tere in our prayers as they pass over the dreaded first couple of days!!!

I called UCDMC at 10 PM and asked about Tere and was told that she was doing fine, was sleeping. Good going Tere, me next!!!!!!!!!
