I spoke with Carolyn and she sounds wonderful. Laughing and Cheerful. Everything went really good. They did have to give her some blood b/c her BP was so low. They did take her spleen(sp?) out.
She was very dizzy when she was up trying walk, that is when they decided she needed blood. She has an IV in both hands, 1 for fluids, the other for blood. Feels alot better since getting the blood.
And that is about it. She has my number and will call me once she is release to a "half-way" type house. Something like a Ronalnd McDonald house, except it is part of the hospital. She lives so far from the hospital that they don't want her to go all the way home. So, there she will stay for a couple of days.
They did bring her in a pack of papers last night but she hasn't gone through them. I told her about the hospital email system. She didn't know about that. So, we figure that is what the papers are.
