"The staff was wonderful. Especially the Nurses Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses. They seem to do most of the "hands on" work with the patients and were VERY kind and understanding."

"I liked Dr. Tanaka right away. He is VERY serious about what he does, but has a great sense of humor. My husband and I both liked him a lot. He spent a great deal of time with us and answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. Dr. Tanaka said that I was a candidate for both the laproscopic or the open surgery. I told him that I wanted open - not laproscopic for a number of reasons. When I went to the lecture at the Red Lyon Hotel in Sacramento, Dr. Mary Murphy said that in view the open is more safe because 1. You can see and feel the tissue better and can see possible leaks etc. 2. It is a shorter surgery - less risk. "
