I had an RNY on December 15, 2009. I will be getting that date tattooed below my butterfly on my ankle. It's the date of my rebirth. I have been overweight my entire life. No, change that. I was an overweight kid and an overweight adult. There was a time in there when I was a teenager that my weight was normal. This journey is not for sissies, nor is it the "easy way out" as some people have said. WLS has been one of the hardest things I've ever done. It has also been the best thing.
