Stabilized at 140 but feel wonderful.  The surgery saved my life literally.  I was eating myself to death.  Now I eat when hungry and a variety of food.  I don't feel deprived and cravings aren't overwhelming.   I would not be alive and now I eat to live instead of live to eat.  I wish you all to know there is hope.  I borrowed from my retirement to afford this surgery and paid myself back over time because mu insurance wouldn't pay.  I list over 100 lbs and have kept it off.  I love Dr Aceves and know he's in heaven.  He's an angel and a saint to me.  God bless OH for helping me.  This site is awesome!

well i did it.  surgery is done and hopefully no one will be any more awarae that i did this.  so far i feel pretty good but had to take a pain pill on my flight home.  sitting in sandiego airport right now waiting.  wont b home til midnite my time.  uggghh.

anyway, im glad i did it and feel very inspired and hopeful.  post op diet will be tough to explain to ppl who aer used to seeing me eating anything in sight.  have to turn down the eating party and drinking invites will puzzle some friends too.  new lifestyle requires it.  anyway, gotta go.

Surgeon is picked, surgery is scheduled, flight is scheduled, plans are made.  Now to prepare...

well sleeve seems right for me.  now to find a surgeon.  mexico looking good for me as self pay.  all inclusive pkgs even better.  should i go to mexico alone?  geez so many decisions.

Scheduled my first official appt for 12/30.  Also requested to borrow from my 401k since my insurance says it is not a covered benefit.  STINKS.

Tomorrow I am scheduling my first appointment on my journey to get WLS.  Wish me luck!
